Summer is a magical time. Unfortunately, even though I have a surplus of leisure time, it is a very inopportune time for one of my favorite hobbies...BAKING! Between a 350 degree oven and extra calories during swimsuit/wedding season, baking is a less than ideal summer hobby.
This leads me to the point of this post. My summer hobby=crafting.
*Drinking* GAME TIME! Because I love all things Bravo, I am channeling Andy Cohen while alerting you to this Blog's word-CRAFT or any of its variants. Anytime you come across this word take a 'guzlett' (Cohen, 2011) of your cocktail.*

I have to thank a few people; acknowledgments are at the beginning of all good books. My sister, the crafty minx that she is, started crafting some very cute bows that really inspired me to tap into my inner crazy crafty cat lady. Also my wonderful husband who has forfeited a substantial corner of his 'man cave-ish' basement (with 2 tvs mind you) to my craft corner. Finally, my mother, my original crafty muse. Thanks mom, for the years of seasonal and home crafted vests/dresses, theatre (shut up Firefox, that's how it's spelled) costume pieces at the last minute, and Halloween costumes (that later ended up as a photo on a cake at my high school graduation party).

But I do have high hopes for myself.
